Our team here at Zebra Medical Vision was proud to support local high school athletes by sponsoring the Rumson Boat Race, held in Rumson New Jersey. Proceeds from the event help support the boys and girls crew teams from the local high school, Rumson Fair Haven.

It’s an exciting day as the small town of Rumson is taken over by collegiate crew athletes and coaches from five colleges including Army West Point, Villanova, Drexel, Coast Guard Academy and Rutgers. The collegiate athletes and coaches are hosted by local families as local parents and student athletes all volunteer to make this great two day event happen. The races are held on the picturesque Navesink River which runs along the two coastal towns of Fair Haven and Rumson as it opens to the bay then ocean. Aside from the exciting races on the river, there were some fun activities such as a rubber duck race and watching the Army West Point crew team play a short pick up basketball game with our local boys.

This event is in keeping with our mission at Zebra which is to promote health and general wellness. Although we are taking a technology approach to improving the care and general wellness of patients around the world, we also support programs and activities that lead to healthy lifestyles, strong minds and bodies.

Congratulations to all the collegiate athletes and coaches who attended the event as well as all our local volunteers who make this day special. The entire team at Zebra Medical Vision is proud to support the young men and women of Rumson Fair Haven High School pursue their dreams and goals as we look forward to next year!
